Letty Blanco is a Garifuna-American born in Los Angeles, California. Known as Letty B., she is not a formally trained artist, but has been a creative her entire life and identifies as an abstract visual artist.
With an educational and career background in business and finance, Letty B. is a service-connected disabled U.S. Army veteran, who became very enthusiastic about visual artwork in 2016 as a means of coping with an array of medical conditions. After gaining the knowledge about how to start a small art business, she and her daughters decided to start their online & pop-up shop business in 2022. After a successful run, the family decided to move away from pop-up shops. Letty B. maintains a social media presence, and participates in a variety of artist call exhibits.

My work reflects moments, feelings, and experiments that do not always follow a single theme. As an informally trained artist, my commitment is to creativity as an evolving practice, and I playfully highlight process over perfection. The media I use is a little bit of everything, because that is what creativity feels like to me. My work represents the symphony of creativity that lives in my soul that I am willing to share with the world.

It was an honor to be awarded the
